Ecoflow Delta 1300 Forum – EcoFlow DELTA formerly names DELTA 1300. It represents the brand new standard of battery-powered generators. Compatible with a wide range of devices, you can keep powered for hours each time and wherever.
Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model but over 10+ years previous (so not essentially the most efficient). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the actual worth is the fast recharge. A little bit over an hour at a friend’s home (who had power) and back to 100%.

This was essential as food can change into to go bad after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We had been without power to it for a little below 2 hours. Plugged the Delta back in and ran it for one more 4 hours till power was restored. A total power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing
Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an idea for what my campsite will look like as soon as we’re all capable of get outdoor and go tenting again (damn you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after using the Power Station for some photo lights I used to gentle the room extra bright (to actually stress take a look at this unit) while setting all the things up. Ecoflow Delta 1300 Forum.
This Power Station powered the whole lot flawlessly! We had it hooked as much as a lot of the gadgets listed above all night long, and after we wakened, still had enough juice to fireside up my sizzling water kettle and make a French Press filled with coffee. I might say Test #1 was an enormous success.
Test #2 – Working on photograph/video initiatives wherever I would like. I’ve at all times had the dream of #vanlife, however I’ve never pulled the set off. So, in a approach to emulate it, I’ve at all times needed to set up my modifying desk in a scenic spot, trying over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I had to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the location was beautiful, the climate beautiful, and my complete editing setup was being powered by a battery! This was only a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it happen. I worked exterior for about three hours, then packed up and headed house. The Delta had solely used about 20% of its charge.
Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a photovoltaic panel. This unit can certainly go from just a few % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I thought it was going to take hours. Fast forward 30 minutes, and this factor had steamrolled through the 40% mark and was rattling near 50%. It took nearly an hour twenty to fully recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons
Solar Panel recharging time. I’ve a 60w solar panel from another model and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I was capable of run it, I did. The panel is supposed to be able to charge at 60W, however in reality, it gets closer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 Forum – I was not capable of get to a full charge, however, it was thrilling to see that I may recharge from photovoltaic in any respect, particularly with a different branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a considerably greater panel, or simply concede that photovoltaic will simply stretch your charge out.
After all this praise, I believe it’s vital that I touch on the damaging pieces of this unit. Two things come to mind. One is the weight, however, it’s type of anticipated when you’ll be able to carry round this a lot juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s totally advantageous, but for my girlfriend who is smaller, it is robust for her to move round.
The different item is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some pretty aggressive cooling fans that kick on underneath heavy load or when charging. With the quantity of electrical energy pumping in and out of this station, I form of perceive it, however I’m sure some intelligent engineer may solve this problem, perhaps set up larger slower moving fans?
EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews
Do your analysis on youtube.. almost every thing revealed is spot on. The solely things I saw where people had a problem were coated in the manual or faq. The unit has extra security on it and it keeps you from making errors. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it actually wasn’t for my part.
Example… It truly does simply charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it does not do is straight away after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this rapidly. This is a protection circuit kicking in and throttling again the charge price to half.. in order to not overheat the unit. It regularly will increase as the unit cools.
Even so.. it prices quicker than something I have ever seen. One thing identified and I agree is the acknowledged capability is actually about 1000 vs what’s advertised. HOWEVER, if push got here to shove, the battery is probably exactly as advertised. What I’m referring to is what I can really get out of it. I am a choosy anal geek that’s seldom happy.
This matches the area of interest or if you want to wait until the final minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on house charge while you’re packing and gasing up.. will probably be 100% ready to go. NO in search of inverter.. no searching for cables.. no in search of extra fuses.. and so on and many others. Grab it and go and plug in… If I were younger I might try to sell the things… Hope this helps. I hate placing crap opinions or reviews which can be “paid for” by the producer and so forth and then being upset. I’m actually comfortable…
