Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model however over 10+ years outdated (so not essentially the most efficient). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the true worth is the short recharge. A bit of over an hour at a friend’s house (who had power) and again to 100%.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 Power Supply
This was vital as food can change into to go bad after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We have been without power to it for a little bit under 2 hours. Plugged the Delta again in and ran it for an additional 4 hours until power was restored. A total power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing
Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an thought for what my campsite will seem like as soon as we’re all capable of get outside and go tenting again (damn you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after using the Power Station for some photo lights I used to gentle the room extra vivid (to really stress check this unit) while setting all the things up. Ecoflow Delta 1300 Power Supply.
This Power Station powered all the things flawlessly! We had it hooked as much as most of the objects listed above all night lengthy, and after we woke up, still had enough juice to fire up my sizzling water kettle and make a French Press full of espresso. I’d say Test #1 was a huge success.
Test #2 – Working on picture/video initiatives anyplace I would like. I’ve all the time had the dream of #vanlife, however I’ve never pulled the trigger. So, in a option to emulate it, I’ve at all times wished to set up my enhancing desk in a scenic spot, looking over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I had to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the location was gorgeous, the weather lovely, and my whole enhancing setup was being powered by a battery! This was just a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it occur. I worked exterior for about three hours, then packed up and headed house. The Delta had solely used about 20% of its charge.
Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a solar panel. This unit can indeed go from just a few % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I assumed it was going to take hours. Fast forward 30 minutes, and this factor had steamrolled through the 40% mark and was damn close to 50%. It took just about an hour twenty to totally recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons
Solar Panel recharging time. I’ve a 60w photovoltaic panel from one other model and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I was capable of run it, I did. The panel is meant to be able to charge at 60W, however in reality, it gets closer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 Power Supply – I was not able to get to a full charge, nevertheless it was exciting to see that I might recharge from solar in any respect, especially with a distinct branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a significantly larger panel, or simply concede that photovoltaic will just stretch your charge out.
After all this praise, I believe it’s necessary that I touch on the detrimental pieces of this unit. Two issues come to thoughts. One is the weight, however, it’s sort of expected when you may carry around this much juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s very superb, however for my girlfriend who’s smaller, it’s tough for her to maneuver round.
The other item is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some pretty aggressive cooling fans that kick on under heavy load or when charging. With the amount of electricity pumping in and out of this station, I type of perceive it, however I’m certain some clever engineer could solve this problem, possibly install larger slower transferring fans?
EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews
Do your analysis on youtube.. nearly everything published is spot on. The only things I saw the place people had a problem were coated in the manual or faq. The unit has extra safety on it and it keeps you from making errors. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it truly wasn’t in my opinion.
Example… It actually does simply charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it does not do is straight away after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this quickly. This is a protection circuit kicking in and throttling back the charge price to half.. so as to not overheat the unit. It steadily will increase as the unit cools.
Even so.. it prices quicker than something I have ever seen. One thing pointed out and I agree is the said capability is definitely about 1000 vs what’s advertised. HOWEVER, if push got here to shove, the battery might be precisely as marketed. What I’m referring to is what I can truly get out of it. I’m a choosy anal geek that’s seldom glad.
This suits the area of interest or if you wish to wait till the last minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on house charge when you are packing and gasing up.. it is going to be 100% ready to go. NO on the lookout for inverter.. no in search of cables.. no in search of further fuses.. etc and so forth. Grab it and go and plug in… If I were youthful I might try to sell the things… Hope this helps. I hate placing crap reviews or evaluations which might be “paid for” by the producer etc after which being dissatisfied. I am definitely blissful…
