1. The Advantages of a 200 Watt Monocrystalline Solar Panel
The core of the 800 watt RV solar kit is the 200 watt monocrystalline solar panel. Known for its efficiency, this type of panel can convert sunlight into electricity more effectively than other solar panel technologies. This means that even on partially cloudy days, you can generate sufficient power to keep your RV systems running smoothly, making your travel experience much more enjoyable.
Features:
- Generates 10.9 amps of power, charges 12-volt batteries, 3′ quick connect cables with connectors, and works in series or parallel.
- Excellent low-light performance even on early mornings, evenings, and cloudy days.
- Built with strong, high-transmission “anti-reflective” coated tempered glass and an anodized aluminum frame.
- Fast and easy installation thanks to 14 pre-drilled holes; compatible with standard Z-brackets, ground mounts, side pole mounts, and tilt mounts.
- 25-year limited warranty for power output; 10-year workmanship warranty.
2. Optimizing Energy Use with a 60A MPPT Solar Charge Controller
A significant component of the 800 watt RV solar kit is the 60A MPPT solar charge controller. This component ensures that your batteries are charged efficiently, maximizing the energy harvested from the solar panels. With Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), this technology continually adjusted its operations to draw the optimum energy from the solar panels. As a result, your RV’s batteries charge faster, giving you more time to enjoy your journey.
Features:
- Automatically detects 12V/24V/36V/48V DC system voltages.
- Compatible with various deep cycle battery options: Sealed, Gel, Flooded, and Lithium.
- Innovative MPPT technology with high tracking efficiency up to 99% and peak conversion efficiency of 98%.
- Electronic protection against reverse polarity, overcharging, over-discharging, overload, short-circuiting, and reverse current.
- LCD screen and multiple LED indicators for displaying system operation information, customizable parameters, and error codes.
- Features diverse load control; also capable of charging over-discharged lithium batteries.
- Die-cast aluminum design allows for efficient heat dissipation.
- RS232 port for communicating with the BT-1 Bluetooth module.
Conclusion
In conclusion, an 800 watt RV solar kit, complete with a 200 watt monocrystalline solar panel and a 60A MPPT solar charge controller, significantly enhances your RV experience. By harnessing solar energy, you can enjoy the comforts of home while embracing the great outdoors, reducing your carbon footprint, and ultimately saving on energy costs. Consider upgrading to a solar kit for your RV and embark on a new adventure powered by the sun.

Robert C –
Just finished install of your 200W x 4 solar kit today on my cargo trailer. Seems to be working like a charm. Getting about 600W off the solar panels mid-day with them laying flat on the trailer roof. Install was time consuming but nothing difficult.
