Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model however over 10+ years outdated (so not probably the most efficient). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the real value is the short recharge. Just a little over an hour at a buddy’s house (who had power) and again to 100%.

This was important as food can grow to be to go bad after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We had been with out power to it for just a little under 2 hours. Plugged the Delta again in and ran it for one more 4 hours till power was restored. A total power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing
Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an idea for what my campsite will seem like as soon as we’re all able to get open air and go camping again (damn you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after utilizing the Power Station for some photo lights I used to mild the room further vibrant (to essentially stress take a look at this unit) whereas setting all the pieces up. Ecoflow Delta 1300 Malaysia.
This Power Station powered everything flawlessly! We had it hooked up to most of the gadgets listed above all night time long, and when we awakened, nonetheless had sufficient juice to fire up my scorching water kettle and make a French Press stuffed with coffee. I’d say Test #1 was an enormous success.
Test #2 – Working on picture/video projects wherever I want. I’ve all the time had the dream of #vanlife, but I’ve by no means pulled the set off. So, in a option to emulate it, I’ve all the time wanted to arrange my enhancing desk in a scenic spot, wanting over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I had to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the placement was stunning, the weather stunning, and my whole modifying setup was being powered by a battery! This was just a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it occur. I labored outdoors for about three hours, then packed up and headed house. The Delta had solely used about 20% of its charge.
Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a photovoltaic panel. This unit can certainly go from a couple of % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I assumed it was going to take hours. Fast forward half-hour, and this thing had steamrolled through the 40% mark and was rattling near 50%. It took just about an hour twenty to completely recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons
Solar Panel recharging time. I have a 60w photovoltaic panel from another brand and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I used to be able to run it, I did. The panel is supposed to be able to charge at 60W, but in reality, it gets nearer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 Malaysia – I used to be not capable of get to a full charge, however, it was exciting to see that I could recharge from photovoltaic in any respect, especially with a unique branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a significantly larger panel, or simply concede that photovoltaic will simply stretch your charge out.
After all this reward, I feel it is necessary that I touch on the damaging items of this unit. Two issues come to thoughts. One is the burden, but it’s kind of expected when you may carry around this much juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s very high quality, however for my girlfriend who’s smaller, it’s tough for her to maneuver around.
The different merchandise is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some pretty aggressive cooling fans that kick on below heavy load or when charging. With the amount of electricity pumping out and in of this station, I sort of perceive it, but I’m sure some clever engineer may solve this downside, possibly install bigger slower moving followers?
EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews
Do your research on youtube.. almost every part published is spot on. The only things I noticed the place individuals had an issue had been lined within the handbook or faq. The unit has more security on it and it retains you from making mistakes. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it really wasn’t in my opinion.
Example… It really does simply charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it does not do is immediately after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this quickly. This is a safety circuit kicking in and throttling back the charge fee to half.. in order to not overheat the unit. It regularly increases as the unit cools.
Even so.. it expenses quicker than something I have ever seen. One thing identified and I agree is the stated capability is actually about 1000 vs what is marketed. HOWEVER, if push got here to shove, the battery is probably exactly as advertised. What I’m referring to is what I can actually get out of it. I am a picky anal geek that is seldom satisfied.
This fits the niche or if you want to wait until the final minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on home charge if you are packing and gasing up.. it is going to be 100% ready to go. NO on the lookout for inverter.. no looking for cables.. no looking for extra fuses.. and many others and so on. Grab it and go and plug in… If I were younger I might attempt to sell the issues… Hope this helps. I hate putting crap critiques or opinions that are “paid for” by the producer and so forth after which being disenchanted. I am actually comfortable…
