Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model however over 10+ years old (so not essentially the most efficient). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the true value is the fast recharge. A bit of over an hour at a buddy’s house (who had power) and again to 100%.

This was critical as food can turn into to go unhealthy after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We were with out power to it for a little under 2 hours. Plugged the Delta back in and ran it for one more 4 hours until power was restored. A total power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing
Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an concept for what my campsite will seem like as soon as we’re all in a position to get outdoor and go tenting once more (rattling you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after utilizing the Power Station for some photograph lights I used to light the room further bright (to actually stress take a look at this unit) while setting everything up. This Power Station powered everything flawlessly! We had it hooked as much as most of the items listed above all evening lengthy, and once we woke up, still had enough juice to fire up my sizzling water kettle and make a French Press full of espresso. I would say Test #1 was a huge success.
Test #2 – Working on photograph/video tasks anywhere I need. I’ve always had the dream of #vanlife, but I’ve by no means pulled the set off. So, in a method to emulate it, I’ve all the time wanted to arrange my editing desk in a scenic spot, looking over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I had to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the location was beautiful, the weather beautiful, and my complete modifying setup was being powered by a battery! This was only a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it happen. I labored outside for about three hours, then packed up and headed home. The Delta had only used about 20% of its charge.
Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a solar panel. This unit can indeed go from a few % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I believed it was going to take hours. Fast ahead 30 minutes, and this thing had steamrolled through the 40% mark and was rattling close to 50%. It took nearly an hour twenty to fully recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons
Solar Panel recharging time. I have a 60w photovoltaic panel from another brand and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I was able to run it, I did. The panel is meant to have the ability to charge at 60W, but in actuality, it gets nearer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 Portable Power Station Stores – I was not in a position to get to a full charge, but it was exciting to see that I may recharge from solar in any respect, especially with a special branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a considerably larger panel, or just concede that solar will simply stretch your charge out.
After all this praise, I feel it’s important that I contact on the destructive pieces of this unit. Two issues come to mind. One is the weight, however, it’s sort of anticipated when you can carry around this a lot juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s very tremendous, but for my girlfriend who is smaller, it’s tough for her to move round.
The other merchandise is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some pretty aggressive cooling followers that kick on beneath heavy load or when charging. With the amount of electrical energy pumping out and in of this station, I kind of understand it, however I’m positive some intelligent engineer could clear up this downside, perhaps set up bigger slower shifting fans?
EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews
Do your analysis on youtube.. nearly every part revealed is spot on. The solely issues I noticed where individuals had an issue had been coated in the handbook or faq. The unit has more safety on it and it keeps you from making mistakes. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it really wasn’t in my opinion.
Example… It actually does easily charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it does not do is straight away after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this shortly. This is a protection circuit kicking in and throttling back the charge price to half.. in order to not overheat the unit. It regularly will increase as the unit cools.
Even so.. it expenses faster than something I’ve ever seen. One thing identified and I agree is the acknowledged capability is actually about 1000 vs what’s marketed. HOWEVER, if push got here to shove, the battery is probably exactly as advertised. What I am referring to is what I can truly get out of it. I am a choosy anal geek that’s seldom glad.
This suits the niche or if you wish to wait until the final minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on house charge if you are packing and gasing up.. it will likely be 100% ready to go. NO searching for inverter.. no in search of cables.. no searching for further fuses.. and so forth and so on. Grab it and go and plug in… If I have been younger I might try and promote the things… Hope this helps. I hate putting crap reviews or evaluations that are “paid for” by the manufacturer and so forth and then being disenchanted. I am actually blissful…
