Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model however over 10+ years previous (so not the most environment friendly). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the real worth is the quick recharge. Slightly over an hour at a friend’s house (who had power) and again to 100%.

This was critical as food can grow to be to go bad after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We had been without power to it for slightly beneath 2 hours. Plugged the Delta back in and ran it for an additional 4 hours till power was restored. A complete power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing

Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an concept for what my campsite will appear like once we’re all in a position to get outdoor and go camping once more (rattling you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after utilizing the Power Station for some photograph lights I used to mild the room further vivid (to really stress check this unit) whereas setting every thing up. Ecoflow Delta 1300 Singapore.

This Power Station powered every thing flawlessly! We had it hooked up to a lot of the items listed above all night long, and once we awakened, still had enough juice to fireside up my sizzling water kettle and make a French Press stuffed with espresso. I would say Test #1 was an enormous success.

Test #2 – Working on photograph/video initiatives anywhere I would like. I’ve all the time had the dream of #vanlife, but I’ve never pulled the set off. So, in a approach to emulate it, I’ve at all times wished to set up my modifying desk in a scenic spot, looking over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I had to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the location was gorgeous, the weather beautiful, and my whole modifying setup was being powered by a battery! This was only a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it happen. I worked outside for about three hours, then packed up and headed home. The Delta had only used about 20% of its charge.

Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a solar panel. This unit can certainly go from a few % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I assumed it was going to take hours. Fast forward half-hour, and this thing had steamrolled by the 40% mark and was rattling close to 50%. It took nearly an hour twenty to totally recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons

Solar Panel recharging time. I have a 60w solar panel from one other model and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I was capable of run it, I did. The panel is meant to have the ability to charge at 60W, however in actuality, it gets closer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.

Ecoflow Delta 1300 Singapore – I used to be not able to get to a full charge, but it was exciting to see that I might recharge from solar at all, particularly with a distinct branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a considerably bigger panel, or just concede that photovoltaic will just stretch your charge out.

After all this reward, I feel it’s vital that I touch on the damaging items of this unit. Two things come to thoughts. One is the burden, but it’s form of expected when you can carry around this much juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s very nice, but for my girlfriend who’s smaller, it’s tough for her to move round.

The other item is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some fairly aggressive cooling fans that kick on under heavy load or when charging. With the quantity of electricity pumping in and out of this station, I type of understand it, however I’m sure some intelligent engineer may solve this drawback, possibly install larger slower moving fans?

EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews

Do your research on youtube.. virtually every part printed is spot on. The only issues I saw where individuals had an issue have been lined in the handbook or faq. The unit has more safety on it and it keeps you from making mistakes. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it actually wasn’t for my part.

Example… It really does easily charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it doesn’t do is immediately after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this quickly. This is a safety circuit kicking in and throttling back the charge rate to half.. in order not to overheat the unit. It regularly will increase as the unit cools.

Even so.. it fees sooner than anything I have ever seen. One factor pointed out and I agree is the stated capability is actually about 1000 vs what’s advertised. HOWEVER, if push came to shove, the battery is probably exactly as marketed. What I am referring to is what I can actually get out of it. I am a picky anal geek that’s seldom satisfied.

This matches the area of interest or if you wish to wait until the last minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on home charge if you are packing and gasing up.. will probably be 100% able to go. NO searching for inverter.. no in search of cables.. no searching for additional fuses.. and so on and so forth. Grab it and go and plug in… If I had been youthful I would try and promote the issues… Hope this helps. I hate placing crap reviews or critiques which can be “paid for” by the producer and many others and then being disenchanted. I am definitely completely satisfied…
