Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model but over 10+ years previous (so not the most efficient). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the true worth is the fast recharge. A bit of over an hour at a pal’s home (who had power) and back to 100%.

This was vital as meals can change into to go unhealthy after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We have been without power to it for somewhat beneath 2 hours. Plugged the Delta again in and ran it for one more 4 hours until power was restored. A complete power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing
Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an idea for what my campsite will appear to be once we’re all capable of get outdoor and go camping once more (rattling you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after utilizing the Power Station for some photo lights I used to light the room additional vivid (to really stress test this unit) while setting all the pieces up. Ecoflow Delta 1300 South Africa.
This Power Station powered every part flawlessly! We had it hooked as much as a lot of the gadgets listed above all evening lengthy, and when we awoke, still had sufficient juice to fireside up my sizzling water kettle and make a French Press filled with espresso. I’d say Test #1 was a huge success.
Test #2 – Working on picture/video initiatives anywhere I want. I’ve always had the dream of #vanlife, but I’ve never pulled the set off. So, in a solution to emulate it, I’ve always needed to set up my editing desk in a scenic spot, looking over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I had to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the placement was stunning, the weather lovely, and my total modifying setup was being powered by a battery! This was just a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it occur. I worked exterior for about three hours, then packed up and headed house. The Delta had only used about 20% of its charge.
Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a solar panel. This unit can indeed go from a couple of % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I thought it was going to take hours. Fast forward half-hour, and this thing had steamrolled by way of the 40% mark and was damn close to 50%. It took just about an hour twenty to completely recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons
Solar Panel recharging time. I have a 60w solar panel from another model and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I used to be in a position to run it, I did. The panel is supposed to have the ability to charge at 60W, however in actuality, it will get closer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 South Africa – I was not capable of get to a full charge, but it surely was thrilling to see that I may recharge from solar in any respect, particularly with a unique branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a significantly greater panel, or simply concede that solar will simply stretch your charge out.
After all this reward, I think it is necessary that I touch on the damaging items of this unit. Two issues come to mind. One is the load, but it’s form of expected when you possibly can carry round this much juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s totally positive, however for my girlfriend who’s smaller, it is robust for her to move round.
The other merchandise is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some fairly aggressive cooling fans that kick on underneath heavy load or when charging. With the quantity of electrical energy pumping in and out of this station, I form of perceive it, but I’m positive some clever engineer might solve this downside, maybe install larger slower transferring fans?
EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews
Do your research on youtube.. almost every part revealed is spot on. The only issues I noticed the place people had an issue have been lined in the manual or faq. The unit has extra security on it and it keeps you from making mistakes. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it truly wasn’t for my part.
Example… It actually does easily charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it does not do is instantly after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this rapidly. This is a protection circuit kicking in and throttling back the charge fee to half.. so as not to overheat the unit. It regularly increases because the unit cools.
Even so.. it charges faster than something I have ever seen. One factor identified and I agree is the stated capability is actually about 1000 vs what is advertised. HOWEVER, if push came to shove, the battery is probably precisely as advertised. What I’m referring to is what I can truly get out of it. I’m a choosy anal geek that’s seldom satisfied.
This fits the niche or if you want to wait till the last minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on home charge while you are packing and gasing up.. it will be 100% ready to go. NO looking for inverter.. no searching for cables.. no in search of extra fuses.. and so on etc. Grab it and go and plug in… If I have been younger I would try to sell the things… Hope this helps. I hate putting crap opinions or reviews which might be “paid for” by the producer etc after which being upset. I am definitely completely happy…

It does the whole lot as suggested, fees off my one panel (270 Watt, 24-volt Renergy) in about 3 hours in full solar. It can even power all my storage power tools and can run my big fridge for 15 hours. Tested it. Will pack it for my Army subject TDYs.
Overall it’s an excellent battery at an attractive value.
