Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model however over 10+ years previous (so not probably the most efficient). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the actual worth is the short recharge. Just a little over an hour at a friend’s home (who had power) and back to 100%.

This was critical as food can become to go unhealthy after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We had been without power to it for a little bit below 2 hours. Plugged the Delta again in and ran it for an additional 4 hours till power was restored. A complete power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing

Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an concept for what my campsite will seem like as soon as we’re all able to get outdoor and go camping again (damn you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after utilizing the Power Station for some photograph lights I used to gentle the room further bright (to actually stress check this unit) whereas setting all the things up. Ecoflow Delta 1300 Test.

This Power Station powered every thing flawlessly! We had it hooked as much as many of the items listed above all evening long, and after we awoke, still had sufficient juice to fireside up my sizzling water kettle and make a French Press filled with coffee. I might say Test #1 was an enormous success.

Test #2 – Working on picture/video initiatives anywhere I would like. I’ve always had the dream of #vanlife, but I’ve by no means pulled the trigger. So, in a option to emulate it, I’ve at all times needed to arrange my enhancing desk in a scenic spot, looking over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I needed to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the location was stunning, the climate lovely, and my complete editing setup was being powered by a battery! This was just a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it happen. I labored exterior for about three hours, then packed up and headed home. The Delta had only used about 20% of its charge.

Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a photovoltaic panel. This unit can indeed go from a couple of % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I believed it was going to take hours. Fast ahead half-hour, and this factor had steamrolled by way of the 40% mark and was damn near 50%. It took nearly an hour twenty to completely recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons

Solar Panel recharging time. I’ve a 60w photovoltaic panel from one other model and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I used to be in a position to run it, I did. The panel is meant to be able to charge at 60W, however in actuality, it will get nearer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.

Ecoflow Delta 1300 Test – I was not able to get to a full charge, but it was thrilling to see that I could recharge from photovoltaic at all, especially with a different branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a significantly bigger panel, or simply concede that solar will simply stretch your charge out.

After all this praise, I believe it is important that I contact on the unfavorable pieces of this unit. Two issues come to thoughts. One is the weight, however, it’s kind of anticipated when you can carry round this much juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s totally positive, however for my girlfriend who’s smaller, it is robust for her to maneuver round.

The different item is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some fairly aggressive cooling followers that kick on below heavy load or when charging. With the amount of electrical energy pumping in and out of this station, I kind of perceive it, however I’m sure some intelligent engineer might remedy this downside, maybe install larger slower moving fans?

EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews

Do your analysis on youtube.. virtually all the pieces revealed is spot on. The only things I saw the place individuals had a problem had been coated in the handbook or faq. The unit has more safety on it and it keeps you from making mistakes. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it really wasn’t for my part.

Example… It truly does simply charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it doesn’t do is instantly after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this quickly. This is a protection circuit kicking in and throttling again the charge fee to half.. in order to not overheat the unit. It regularly increases because the unit cools.

Even so.. it prices sooner than anything I’ve ever seen. One factor pointed out and I agree is the said capacity is actually about 1000 vs what is marketed. HOWEVER, if push got here to shove, the battery might be precisely as advertised. What I’m referring to is what I can truly get out of it. I am a choosy anal geek that’s seldom glad.

This matches the niche or if you want to wait until the final minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on home charge while you’re packing and gasing up.. will probably be 100% ready to go. NO in search of inverter.. no looking for cables.. no searching for extra fuses.. and so on etc. Grab it and go and plug in… If I were youthful I would attempt to promote the issues… Hope this helps. I hate placing crap critiques or critiques that are “paid for” by the manufacturer etc after which being dissatisfied. I’m actually pleased…
