Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model however over 10+ years old (so not essentially the most environment friendly). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the true worth is the fast recharge. A little over an hour at a good friend’s house (who had power) and again to 100%.

This was crucial as food can become to go dangerous after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We were with out power to it for somewhat beneath 2 hours. Plugged the Delta again in and ran it for another 4 hours until power was restored. A complete power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing
Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an idea for what my campsite will appear like once we’re all in a position to get outdoors and go camping again (rattling you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after using the Power Station for some picture lights I used to light the room extra bright (to actually stress take a look at this unit) whereas setting all the pieces up. Ecoflow Delta 1300 User Manual.
This Power Station powered all the things flawlessly! We had it hooked as much as most of the items listed above all evening lengthy, and once we awakened, still had sufficient juice to fireplace up my sizzling water kettle and make a French Press full of espresso. I might say Test #1 was an enormous success.
Test #2 – Working on picture/video projects anyplace I would like. I’ve all the time had the dream of #vanlife, however I’ve never pulled the set off. So, in a solution to emulate it, I’ve all the time wished to arrange my enhancing desk in a scenic spot, trying over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I needed to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the situation was stunning, the weather stunning, and my complete modifying setup was being powered by a battery! This was just a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it happen. I labored exterior for about three hours, then packed up and headed dwelling. The Delta had only used about 20% of its charge.
Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a photovoltaic panel. This unit can certainly go from a couple of % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I thought it was going to take hours. Fast forward 30 minutes, and this factor had steamrolled by means of the 40% mark and was damn close to 50%. It took nearly an hour twenty to completely recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons
Solar Panel recharging time. I have a 60w solar panel from another brand and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I used to be in a position to run it, I did. The panel is supposed to be able to charge at 60W, but in actuality, it will get nearer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 User Manual – I used to be not in a position to get to a full charge, but it was thrilling to see that I may recharge from photovoltaic at all, particularly with a special branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a considerably larger panel, or just concede that solar will just stretch your charge out.
After all this praise, I feel it’s vital that I touch on the damaging items of this unit. Two things come to thoughts. One is the weight, but it surely’s form of expected when you can carry round this much juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s totally advantageous, however for my girlfriend who is smaller, it’s tough for her to maneuver around.
The other item is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some pretty aggressive cooling followers that kick on under heavy load or when charging. With the amount of electricity pumping in and out of this station, I type of perceive it, however I’m sure some intelligent engineer may remedy this drawback, maybe set up larger slower shifting followers?
EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews
Do your analysis on youtube.. nearly every thing published is spot on. The only issues I saw where individuals had a problem have been coated in the guide or faq. The unit has more safety on it and it keeps you from making errors. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it really wasn’t for my part.
Example… It actually does easily charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it does not do is instantly after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this quickly. This is a protection circuit kicking in and throttling back the charge rate to half.. in order to not overheat the unit. It gradually increases as the unit cools.
Even so.. it charges sooner than something I have ever seen. One factor pointed out and I agree is the said capacity is actually about 1000 vs what’s marketed. HOWEVER, if push came to shove, the battery is probably exactly as advertised. What I am referring to is what I can actually get out of it. I am a picky anal geek that’s seldom satisfied.
This matches the area of interest or if you want to wait until the last minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on home charge when you are packing and gasing up.. will probably be 100% able to go. NO looking for inverter.. no searching for cables.. no looking for extra fuses.. and so on and so on. Grab it and go and plug in… If I had been youthful I might try to promote the issues… Hope this helps. I hate putting crap opinions or opinions which might be “paid for” by the producer and many others after which being disenchanted. I am definitely happy…

It does every little thing as suggested, prices off my one panel (270 Watt, 24-volt Renergy) in about 3 hours in full solar. It will even power all my garage power tools and will run my large fridge for 15 hours. Tested it. Will pack it for my Army discipline TDYs.
Overall it’s an excellent battery at a lovely value.
