Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model however over 10+ years old (so not probably the most efficient). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the true value is the fast recharge. A bit of over an hour at a good friend’s home (who had power) and again to 100%.

This was crucial as food can change into to go bad after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We were without power to it for a bit of under 2 hours. Plugged the Delta again in and ran it for one more 4 hours till power was restored. A complete power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing
Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an idea for what my campsite will seem like as soon as we’re all able to get outdoor and go camping once more (damn you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after utilizing the Power Station for some photograph lights I used to mild the room further bright (to essentially stress take a look at this unit) while setting everything up. Ecoflow Delta 1300 With Solar Panels.
This Power Station powered every little thing flawlessly! We had it hooked as much as most of the items listed above all night time long, and after we awoke, nonetheless had sufficient juice to fire up my sizzling water kettle and make a French Press full of espresso. I would say Test #1 was an enormous success.
Test #2 – Working on photo/video initiatives anywhere I would like. I’ve at all times had the dream of #vanlife, but I’ve never pulled the set off. So, in a approach to emulate it, I’ve always wished to arrange my modifying desk in a scenic spot, wanting over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I had to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the location was gorgeous, the weather stunning, and my whole modifying setup was being powered by a battery! This was just a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it occur. I worked outdoors for about three hours, then packed up and headed residence. The Delta had solely used about 20% of its charge.
Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a photovoltaic panel. This unit can indeed go from just a few % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I assumed it was going to take hours. Fast ahead half-hour, and this thing had steamrolled through the 40% mark and was damn near 50%. It took just about an hour twenty to completely recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons
Solar Panel recharging time. I’ve a 60w solar panel from one other model and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I was able to run it, I did. The panel is supposed to be able to charge at 60W, however in actuality, it will get closer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 With Solar Panels – I was not in a position to get to a full charge, nevertheless it was exciting to see that I could recharge from photovoltaic at all, particularly with a special branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a considerably bigger panel, or simply concede that photovoltaic will simply stretch your charge out.
After all this reward, I think it’s essential that I contact on the detrimental pieces of this unit. Two things come to mind. One is the load, however, it’s sort of expected when you may carry round this a lot juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s very fantastic, but for my girlfriend who is smaller, it is tough for her to move around.
The other merchandise is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some fairly aggressive cooling fans that kick on underneath heavy load or when charging. With the amount of electrical energy pumping in and out of this station, I type of perceive it, but I’m certain some intelligent engineer may solve this drawback, perhaps set up bigger slower transferring followers?
EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews
Do your analysis on youtube.. virtually every thing printed is spot on. The only things I saw where folks had an issue had been covered within the manual or faq. The unit has extra security on it and it retains you from making errors. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it actually wasn’t for my part.
Example… It actually does easily charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it does not do is immediately after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this shortly. This is a protection circuit kicking in and throttling again the charge fee to half.. in order not to overheat the unit. It regularly will increase as the unit cools.
Even so.. it charges sooner than anything I have ever seen. One thing pointed out and I agree is the stated capability is definitely about 1000 vs what is advertised. HOWEVER, if push got here to shove, the battery might be exactly as advertised. What I’m referring to is what I can actually get out of it. I am a picky anal geek that is seldom glad.
This fits the niche or if you want to wait till the last minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on house charge while you’re packing and gasing up.. it will likely be 100% ready to go. NO searching for inverter.. no in search of cables.. no looking for further fuses.. and many others and so forth. Grab it and go and plug in… If I were younger I’d try and promote the issues… Hope this helps. I hate putting crap critiques or reviews which are “paid for” by the producer and so on after which being disenchanted. I am certainly completely happy…
