Ecoflow Delta 1300 – EcoFlow DELTA formerly names DELTA 1300. It represents the brand new normal of battery-powered generators. Compatible with a wide range of units, you’ll be able to keep powered for hours whenever and wherever.
Delta is a monster and a lifesaver! Used to power our side-by-side full-size fridge after a power outage. Our fridge is a higher-end model but over 10+ years outdated (so not the most environment friendly). Powered it for 8 hours. But, the real value is the quick recharge. Just a little over an hour at a good friend’s home (who had power) and again to 100%.
Ecoflow Delta 1300
This was critical as meals can turn into to go dangerous after 4 hours in a fridge with no power. We had been with out power to it for a little beneath 2 hours. Plugged the Delta back in and ran it for another 4 hours until power was restored. A total power outage of 12 hours. Simply impressed.

EcoFlow DELTA Testing
Test #1 – Setting up a full campsite in my bedroom to get an concept for what my campsite will appear to be once we’re all capable of get open air and go tenting again (damn you COVID19). This Station effortlessly powered some Edison bulbs, a projector, two MacBook Pros, an air pump, two smartphones, Sony a7iii battery charger, a 42” 4K TV, and an Nvidia Shield. This was after utilizing the Power Station for some photograph lights I used to light the room extra vibrant (to essentially stress test this unit) whereas setting all the things up. Ecoflow Delta 1300.
This Power Station powered everything flawlessly! We had it hooked up to most of the objects listed above all night lengthy, and after we awoke, still had sufficient juice to fireside up my hot water kettle and make a French Press filled with coffee. I would say Test #1 was an enormous success.
Test #2 – Working on photograph/video initiatives anywhere I want. I’ve at all times had the dream of #vanlife, however I’ve by no means pulled the set off. So, in a method to emulate it, I’ve all the time needed to set up my editing desk in a scenic spot, wanting over an ocean, lake, or some mountains. With the Delta, I needed to give this a go. As you’ll see in my video, the situation was gorgeous, the weather stunning, and my entire modifying setup was being powered by a battery! This was only a dream, and the Delta enabled me to make it happen. I labored outdoors for about three hours, then packed up and headed dwelling. The Delta had only used about 20% of its charge.
Test #3 – Recharging from the wall outlet and a photovoltaic panel. This unit can indeed go from a number of % charge to 80% in an hour when plugging into the wall. When I first plugged it in, I believed it was going to take hours. Fast ahead 30 minutes, and this thing had steamrolled by the 40% mark and was rattling near 50%. It took just about an hour twenty to completely recharge this station.

EcoFlow Delta Cons
Solar Panel recharging time. I have a 60w solar panel from another model and seeing that with an adapter (not included) I was able to run it, I did. The panel is meant to be able to charge at 60W, however in actuality, it gets closer to 25-30W. Because of this, even after a full morning and afternoon.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 – I was not capable of get to a full charge, but it surely was exciting to see that I may recharge from photovoltaic in any respect, especially with a distinct branded panel. If you’re going to go this route, get a significantly greater panel, or simply concede that solar will simply stretch your charge out.
After all this reward, I feel it’s necessary that I touch on the unfavourable items of this unit. Two issues come to thoughts. One is the load, but it surely’s sort of expected when you’ll be able to carry around this a lot juice in a well-constructed unit. For me, it’s totally high quality, but for my girlfriend who is smaller, it’s robust for her to move around.
The different merchandise is the fan sound. This Power Station does have some pretty aggressive cooling followers that kick on beneath heavy load or when charging. With the amount of electricity pumping out and in of this station, I kind of perceive it, however I’m positive some intelligent engineer may clear up this drawback, perhaps install bigger slower shifting fans?
EcoFlow DELTA Customer Reviews
Do your research on youtube.. almost all the things published is spot on. The only issues I noticed the place folks had a problem had been lined within the guide or faq. The unit has more security on it and it keeps you from making mistakes. Sometimes this was reviewed as a flaw … and it actually wasn’t in my view.
Example… It truly does easily charge from zero to full in about an hour and a half. What it does not do is instantly after you do a heavy discharge chargeback this shortly. This is a safety circuit kicking in and throttling again the charge rate to half.. so as to not overheat the unit. It regularly will increase because the unit cools.
Even so.. it prices faster than something I have ever seen. One thing pointed out and I agree is the said capacity is actually about 1000 vs what’s marketed. HOWEVER, if push came to shove, the battery is probably exactly as marketed. What I’m referring to is what I can truly get out of it. I am a picky anal geek that is seldom happy.
This matches the area of interest or if you want to wait till the final minute for a weekend getaway, throw the charger on home charge while you are packing and gasing up.. it will be 100% able to go. NO searching for inverter.. no on the lookout for cables.. no searching for additional fuses.. etc etc. Grab it and go and plug in… If I were youthful I might try to promote the things… Hope this helps. I hate putting crap critiques or opinions that are “paid for” by the producer and so on and then being disappointed. I’m certainly happy…
