EcoFlow River Pro First Impression – It’s amazing. This speed is crazy fast for such a small package. So, really cool packaging, it reminds me of the Tesla, very nice, fully charged before use cables. I think that’s it well, just like the River 600.

We have two cables, one from 12 volts, the other one is for the MC4 to be connected to a solar panel River Pro. The first thing, I want to test is its charging speed. It’s recharging speed and discharging speed for my MacBook Pro, and other small electronics. On its left side, we have the AC charging port the fuse, and the solar charging port, 25 volts 12 amps. This is 100 and 120 volts.
Let’s test I got a kilowatt over here. Let me switch to the wad’s reading plug-in. Check this out, it came with 60, 30. Ecoflow is really known for its fast charging speed. Okay, it’s really close. All these readings are really close, well this thing charges I think, it charges faster than my previous smaller River 600 at 288 watt-hour storage.
Look at that 600, amazing of course, the fan kicks in. This port is for daisy chain two units, I believe. now, let’s test the pass-through charging, the USB-C says 100 watts, just like my smaller River right at 32. Let me, plug in the USB C cable. This is a MacBook pro 13 inches from 2017, I’m at 53 percent 52 watts.
I think it will max out around 60 watts, so yes you can charge and discharge at the same time. I’m gonna add more load to it, charging another anchor power bank a gimbal. It’s amazing, look at the charging speed, 687, 607, well looks like the efficiency loss is a little bit more than expected.
But, I’m not sure which one is more accurate, just like the smaller ones, we have 12 volts, and DC output, and a flashlight. Also, it can be connected via wi-fi. All right, current output is only like ten percent of the input forty percent. It’s amazing, this speed is crazy fast for such a small package.
RIVER 600 Pro
I’m gonna plug in an AC battery charger from DeWalt. My battery is low here, two bar, AC power on. Okay, it’s getting a bit warm. The AC is on 146. It can do 600 watts continuous, I believe, and there’s turbo mode. I’ll figure out a way to mac max out this unit, probably. The power draw from kilowatt shows 774. here. I got 35 at 44 this thing is a monster.
