FAQ SmartHome and EcoFlow Delta Pro
Do you need an electrician license to install this SmartHome panel?
Yes. This connects directly to the main circuits going into your home. In virtually all jurisdictions, you will need a permit and work done by a licensed electrician – not only to conform to the National Electrical Code, Local building, and fire codes but also to satisfy the requirements of anyone with any stake in your home: Bank, insurance company, Home Owners Association, landlord, etc. If you did get such a change made to your main circuit breakers without a permit and your electrical system is inspected in the future (to fix a problem, make changes, or to assess the home for sale or refinancing) you could be subject to fines, removal of the unpermitted work, even loss of use of your home until the situation is rectified.
The Smart Panel is probably a “Transfer Switch” system, which has two advantages over a system that “Back-feeds” electricity into the grid in that the installation “may” not also require permission from the Power Company and the Fire Department.
Is the 400w solar panel usable with the Ecoflow Delta Pro?
Yes
How long would EcoFlow Pro power a camper with and without A/C, (fridge & hotwater& stove running on propane) also 2 small 12v ceiling fantastic fans? Approximately? Looking to travel with our airstream & will not always have hookups.
Depends on the watts. This is a 3600 Wh battery pack expandable to 21kWh battery and 25kWh with the generator. If you aren’t running AC and you have solar you’ll last a lot longer. If you’re running AC you will deplete your batteries quickly.
